Clear Engine Bay Plumbing
Remove the plastic engine beauty cover. Unclip intake tract pipes if necessary to access coil packs on the driver and passenger cylinder heads.
Remove Coil Packs
Unplug coil harness connectors. Use an 8mm socket to remove the retaining bolt on each of the 6 coil packs, then pull the coils straight out.
Thread and Torque Plugs
Use a 5/8 inch spark plug socket to remove old plugs. Double-check gap of new plugs (.030 inch). Thread new plugs in by hand first, then torque to 11 ft-lbs.
