Drain Engine Oil Casing
Locate the 13mm drain plug on the lower oil pan. Place a container underneath, unscrew the bolt, and let the 6.0 Quarts of oil drain completely.
Replace Top-Mount Paper Filter Cartridge
Locate the plastic oil filter housing on top of the engine valley. Use a 24mm socket to unscrew the cap. Pull out the paper filter cartridge and replace the rubber O-ring on the cap. Lubricate the O-ring, push the new cartridge onto the cap, and screw the cap back on. Torque to 18 ft-lbs (do not over-tighten).
Refill Crankcase
Reinstall the 13mm drain plug with a new seal washer and torque to 20 ft-lbs. Pour in 6.0 Quarts of recommended viscosity oil (5W-30 for 2012, 5W-20 for 2013-2015) through the oil fill cap.
